Our favorite family tradition is taking our annual trip to Disney! We started going when Olivia was 3 and this year will be our third time vacationing there. We do EVERYTHING there is to do at Disney. We visit every theme park (usually more than once), we have meals with princesses, we make sure to go in the pool every single day and we eat a lot of ice cream! Some of the most special memories as a parent are watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks. There is simply nothing better than having Olivia on our shoulders, singing along to her favorite Disney songs while fireworks light up Cinderella's castle. It's truly something straight out of a movie. Disney is our family's happy place and we will go there for as long as we're able. Nothing would make us happier than to share this experience with another child in the very near future!

Our lifestyle is adventurous while maintaining structure and routine. We have a gorgeous canal trail within walking distance from our home. We enjoy biking, jogging and walking on this trail. We like to bring warm apple cider and take long walks during the fall.

Our family loves live music. We attend numerous arts and entertainment festivals each year. We enjoy supporting local artists and vendors and town festivals give us the opportunity to do this!

The both of us have always shared a love for spinning (cycling). It is a great way to stay healthy and is a great stress reliever.

Our daughter participates in a multitude of activities outside of school. These include ballet, gymnastics, swimming and T-Ball. We are a family that enjoys filling our days with fun activities, but we can also enjoy those simple rainy days on the couch watching movies and eating snacks.

We are a creative and extremely loving family that is so excited to share our enthusiasm for life with your child.

We believe all birth mothers are noble, and so many go through life without being praised for choosing adoption for their babies. Your strength and determination to consider adoption is remarkable and is not lost on us.

We promise to love your child fiercely every day, with every fiber of our being. We promise to support this child and be patient, even when situations are challenging. We promise to encourage this child to be whomever they want to be in this world, without bounds.

When we moved to our house in 2019, we wanted to find the perfect "Trick or Treat home" for our daughter to enjoy and we absolutely found it!

Our home is situated in the quintessential family-centric community, located on a cul-de-sac and surrounded by other homes that are full of playful children. Our daughter Olivia steps outside when the weather is nice and has an instant play date! The kids ride their bikes on our street, play games in the yards, jump on our trampoline or play on our swing set.

Outside of our street, there are many quiet, residential streets that are perfect for family walks, which we love! The local elementary school is just a short walk from our front door as well.

Our community is fun-loving and our neighbors all care for one another. About 4 times per year, we have a neighborhood block party to celebrate holidays like Memorial Day, the 4th of July and Halloween!

We are truly blessed to have a full extended family who are all close enough in proximity to drive to visit.

The extended family that this child will be lovingly welcomed into consists of: 4 grandparents, 3 great grandparents, 22 aunts and uncles (including great aunts and uncles) and about 40 cousins! There are 3 cousins specifically who this child will be most close with and they are all just a short drive away. These 3 cousins are all boys and range in age from 1-15.

Our family is extremely close on both sides and we celebrate every holiday and special life occasion together. Additionally, we also go on family vacations together which usually includes renting a beach house of a week or traveling to Disney World. These are among the most special times of the year for all of us. There is simply nothing more important to us than our family.

Though we have yet to meet, it is clear that our paths were destined to cross. Before you learn any more about us as parents, please know that we both have a tremendous amount of admiration and respect for you and for considering adoption. By only getting this far along in the process, you've already impacted our lives in a remarkable way and for that, we are grateful.

First, we would love for you to know that we are already parents to a 5-year-old daughter named Olivia. We are pursuing adoption because it is the best path to completing our family since we have been unable to do so naturally. In the summer of 2019, we were overjoyed to find out we were pregnant following about a dozen miscarriages. What happened over the course of the next few weeks ended up being the most devastating period of time in our lives. Ultimately, we lost our second child about 14 weeks into the pregnancy. This event was incredibly difficult on Olivia as she was so excited to become a big sister. Through all the heartache and emotional pain, we leaned on each other as a family and came to the conclusion that God simply had other plans for us. After much soul searching and discussion, we decided that becoming adoptive parents and an adoptive family was the path for which we were chosen.

Having been parents now for 5 years, we have worked through our fair share of "firsts." Some have been more challenging than others. We believe that this firsthand experience has given us the tools to navigate any situation that crosses our lives. We are a strong, grounded and loving family who cares deeply for others. Our love for one another is boundless, and we hope for the opportunity to share this love with another child. That precious child will be raised in a loving home filled with joy and will be cherished by us and our substantial extended family.

The world we have committed our lives to building is conducive and perfectly set up to care for another child, your child. We are surrounded by amazing family and friends. We live on a cul-de-sac that is full of children and the absolute best trick-or-treating neighborhood! There are multiple parks, playgrounds, bike and hiking trails all within walking distance in our town. We moved to this town in 2018 to raise a family and to give our kids the very best of everything. We remain solely dedicated to that dream. The child we are fortunate enough to adopt will be welcomed into our family and afforded every luxury and opportunity imaginable. They will attend the very best schools, go on the most fun vacations and ultimately be loved and cared for with every ounce of our collective family. That is our wholehearted promise to you as parents.
