We both feel keeping a work-life balance and prioritizing time to do the things we enjoy is extremely important. Adam's favorite hobbies are fly fishing and playing golf while Sydney enjoys scuba diving, working with animals and competing in dog agility. Our favorite part of all these activities is sharing them with each other as well as our family and friends.

Our typical evenings and weekends are spent together. We love to take advantage of nearby amenities whether it's hiking through the gorgeous Colorado Rocky Mountains with our dogs, feeding the giraffes at the nearby zoo or munching on a breakfast burrito while we meander through the local farmer's market not far from our property.

Our house is situated on a beautiful piece of land and we thoroughly enjoy our time at home. We love to be outside keeping up the land, growing a garden full of yummy veggies or inviting friends and family over for a cookout. Adam is an amazing cook and loves to try out new recipes for guests to enjoy while they relax on the deck, play cornhole in the yard or have a ping-pong tournament in the basement.

The one thing that is missing from all these activities is a child of our own. We can't wait to begin making lifelong memories as a family whether we're out and about or curled up on the couch next to the fireplace with a movie and some hot chocolate on a cold, snowy day.

Sydney About Adam: Adam is such an amazing man. He takes his roles of being a husband and father very seriously…always prioritizing his spiritual maturity and ensuring to provide financially for his family…but never hesitates to dive in whenever there's an opportunity to play a game, be silly or go on an adventure. His determination to be the kind of man that his wife and children deserve is truly an amazing quality and so evident whenever he's around children. He is always so quick to get down on their level and make them feel like the center of the universe. I can't wait for our children to get to experience this and I know he is going to be such a great dad.

Adam About Sydney: Sydney is the most generous and thoughtful person I know. She is so observant and her ability to assess other's needs is something I have always admired about her. She never hesitates to look for ways to encourage or cheer others up, whether it's a kind word, a helping hand or a gift "for no reason". I have seen first-hand the effect she has on those around her including all her four-legged kiddos. It is truly amazing to see how she interacts with and cares for all types of people and animals. Her kindness to those around her demonstrates what it means to love others and it is qualities such as these that are going to make her a great mother.

We share our home with our two dogs, our cat and our guinea pig. Animals have an amazing ability to bring fun and laughter to a home and ours are no exception.

Zoe is a nine-year-old Samoyed and is the perfect dog. She's sassy, energetic and proof age is just a number. She loves to go for long walks, play fetch, run around the house and have evening wrestling matches with her sister.

Emma is a one-year-old rough collie and she makes us laugh every day. Between her puppy antics, sprawling across the entire couch on her back to take her naps and all her goofy expressions, she is a constant source of entertainment and joy in our house.

Our cat, Henry, is eight years old and truly a dog in cat's clothing. He is leash trained and will frequently join us on walks, hikes and road trips. He definitely enjoys his catnaps in the sun, but you will usually find him playing, exploring and picking on his sisters.

Phil is our two-year-old guinea pig and, despite his tiny size, he has a huge personality. His loud little squeaks can be heard throughout the house whenever he's excited and his purrs of contentment when he's snuggled up in our laps just melt your heart.

All our animals have been raised around kids and are phenomenal with them. We can't wait to see the relationships that will blossom between our children and their furry friends.

Our house is a two-story, five-bedroom home on 4.5 acres. The land is perfect for playing, building forts, having pets, roasting marshmallows, tractor rides with Adam and sledding on our own private sledding hill in the winter. Inside, our home has lots of windows with beautiful views of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, ample room to run and play and a fireplace to cozy up to after a day of playing in the snow. The basement is all about fun with a game room and a movie theater. Our nieces and nephew love coming over for movie nights, complete with candy and popcorn, and we can't wait for your child to join in the fun.

We live in a safe, quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of a major city and just down the road from some of the best schools in town. We're only about fifteen minutes from a town with beautiful parks and playgrounds, a great community pool and lots of farmers markets and annual festivals with fun activities for the kiddos. We are also not far from two large zoos, the children's museum and several large theme parks. Every year, our town puts on a spectacular New Year's Eve fireworks show and we love adding this to our celebration.

We love our community and can't wait to start creating memories as a family…whether it's spending a day at the water park, going to storytime at the local library or playing a game of tag in the backyard.

We are both extremely close to our families. Adam's whole family lives within an hour of us and we see them often for everything from big holidays to family birthday parties to hanging out "just because." Even though the majority of Sydney's family lives about five hours away, we make the trip frequently and see everyone as often as possible.

We love our family traditions, especially around the holidays. These include molasses cookie baking night, sugar cookie decorating contests and large family gatherings complete with gift exchanges and playing games. With Sydney being the youngest of five children, her immediate family is quite large and you will usually find us all ending an evening together with an epic game of Family Feud.

In total, we have eight nieces and nephews ranging in ages from 2 to 25 ... all of which are very excited and can't wait to welcome their new cousin to the family. All of our parents are extremely involved in their grandchildren's lives and we are thrilled for your child to get their share of the love and support that surrounds all the children in our family.

Our story began in 2017 when we met online. After chatting a few weeks, we decided to meet for dinner and the rest, as they say, is history. After nine amazing months of dating, Adam proposed on the banks of a beautiful lake surrounded by gorgeous Fall colors. This is our favorite hike, and we return to that spot every Fall to celebrate the anniversary of our engagement. We can't wait to share this tradition with our children and show them where it all began.

Adam is an accountant for an engineering firm and has worked hard to provide a beautiful life for Sydney and his future children. Although he goes into the office every day, he has lots of flexibility to work from home when necessary and always prioritizes his family. He never misses special events or celebrations and can't wait to take on his role of father, supporting our children in their sporting events and school activities. Outside of work, Adam loves to cook, play golf and fly fish in the mountains…all things he is looking forward to teaching our children.

Sydney has a math degree, is a cartographer and loves working from home full-time. Once we have children, she will be taking a step back from her job to become a stay-at-home mom. She is excited to be fully involved in our children's lives…from helping with homework to driving them to swim lessons to just being there for all the highs and lows that come with growing up. Sydney has a deep love for animals that began at an early age and has spent her life training and competing with her horses and dogs. This is something she is so excited to share with our children and can't wait to watch them enjoy the companionship that comes with having furry friends.

Having children is something we have dreamt of our entire lives and adoption has always been our first choice. Every one of us was created uniquely in God's image and it is because of all our differences this world is such a beautiful place. Being different from one another is something to be embraced and we can't wait to see how our children's unique qualities make our family complete. Every decision we have made in the last four years has been in preparation for this day and we are so excited to pursue growing our family.

We live in a beautiful home on 4.5 acres of land, perfect for running, playing and building memories with our two dogs, cat and guinea pig. Our home is in one of the best school districts in the state, near two large towns full of fun things to enjoy. We can't wait to see our children's faces light up as they feed giraffes at the local zoo, hear the giggles brought on by riding down a slide at the water park and witness the wonder in their eyes as they watch the amazing fireworks show our town puts on for the Fourth of July after our family barbecue at the house.

Family is such an important part of a child's life and identity. Not only will your child be surrounded by many loving grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, but we will ensure you are always a part of his/her story as well. We promise to be open and honest about your decision to make an adoption plan and how it was done out of love. We can't wait to share all his/her milestones and successes with you through regular letters and photos and are excited for you to see him/her in person if you wish. Should you be open to it, and time permits, we would also love to visit and/or get to know you before the birth. We can't even imagine what you're going through as you make this decision and hope that having a relationship with us will provide some peace of mind.
