We adopted our son, Charlie, as a newborn. He was born in February of 2022. The addition of Charlie has made our life a dream come true. We did not realize it was possible to love someone as much as we love him. He is truly the center of our world, and we adore every little thing about him. There is nothing that makes our hearts fuller than Charlie. We always call him, "The most loved baby in the world," and it is true! He has the two of us, his birthmom, grandparents, and aunts and uncles that all love him so much.

We are very close with our siblings, and we believe one of the greatest gifts to give a child is a sibling. A sibling is a built-in best friend. It is such a one of a kind relationship because they lean on each other and will share a lifetime of memories together. Charlie and this baby would be close in age and have the shared experience of both being adopted. This baby would have a sibling that they can relate to on such a major, impactful life experience.

Through our adoption of Charlie, we have had the honor of experiencing adoption first hand. It will never cease to amaze us the love, courage, and selflessness it takes to place your baby for adoption. We would be honored to share that experience with you and your baby.

We have been best friends for a long time, and we love spending quality time together. When together, we give each other our undivided attention. We enjoy having coffee on our deck, playing board games, watching sports together, and most of all, doing things as a family!

Frequently, we go to a lake near our house and walk the 4-mile loop or visit a nearby state park where we hike the trails. We love this quiet, precious family time. Often, we go to the zoo and Children's Museum. Charlie can't get enough of either of these places, and we have a blast right along with him!

Emily loves to cuddle Charlie and take him to baby oriented activities, curl up with a good book, and plan fun events for friends and family! Ben loves to play ball (and everything else) with Charlie, go fishing, hunting, and smoke meat for family dinners.

Each year, we go to a national park and explore everything it has to offer. We cannot wait to take this child on trips and go camping, hiking, fishing, and just show them the pure beauty of the outdoors and quality family time. Before Charlie turned 1.5 years old, he had been to Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton National Parks. Our hobbies and lifestyle reflect our values. We value the simple, yet most rewarding things in life. We cannot wait to include this child in all of our activities and give them as much joy as possible.

Emily About Ben: Ben is everything you could ever want in a husband and father. He is the most level-headed, fun, reliable, and loving man. Ben gives our family his full attention. He is my teammate in every sense. He will wrestle Charlie and chase him around, then cuddle him on the couch and read him a story. Ben already shows Charlie how special and loved he is, and he will do the same for another little one.

He is such a good role model. Ben has a great career and works very hard for our family. He is so reliable and handles all stressful situations with ease. I absolutely love having a front row seat watching Ben excel as a dad.

Ben About Emily: Emily is the most loving woman I know and does things with her whole heart. Em greets me with a smile every time I walk into a room and goes out of her way to make my day better. Emily is such a positive, cheerful person and makes such a happy home for us.

She puts our family first, and her main priority is to show Charlie and this child so much love and affection. She is the most loving and energetic mom that's always ready to do something fun. I love everything about her, and especially, her going above and beyond as a mom.

We live in a beautiful home in Nebraska. Our neighborhood is very family-oriented with numerous playgrounds, and the school they will attend is only a short walk away.

Our home is a family-style ranch located in a cul-de-sac. The little neighborhood kids love riding their bikes in our circle because it is free from traffic.

Our house backs up to a forest with walking trails. You can always hear kids laughing and exploring the woods, and we cannot wait for this child to join in on the fun. Our backyard is also adjacent to two baseball fields and a playground. Ben built a gate into our fence so that we can just step onto the baseball field and head straight to the park. It is a perfect place to fly kites and play on the swings at the park.

The two of us spend a lot of time on our deck - drinking coffee, eating dinner, and having fires. The view is so peaceful and soothing, and we absolutely love that we have so much outdoor beauty, backyard space, and huge trees within the city.

Our home is where we love to host friends and family. We play board games and watch sports in our basement. We have a toy room that is filled with everything a child could want. Our home, within our beautiful neighborhood, is a perfect place for children to grow up.

We have such supportive and wonderful extended families! Our parents and nearly all of our siblings live in our city, and we see them on a weekly basis (or more!).

Emily's family has a blast together. We love anything sports-related and all gather to watch big games. The ten of us go camping a few times a year and love spending time around a campfire and playing yard games. Grandchildren are the focus of Em's family - whether that's playing ball with the uncles, doing artwork with Grammy and Aunt Liv, or racing toy cars with Grandpa, the fun doesn't stop.

We are so close with Ben's family. We love playing card games and play every time we're together. All of us love to go boating, swimming, and spending quality time together at their lake house! Grandma and Grandpa B love taking Charlie on neighborhood walks and playing all kinds of games with him. Grandma B has a box of musical instrument toys that she can't wait to share with another little one.

This child would have the best grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Our families have known for a long time that we will build our family through adoption, and they couldn't be happier for this dream to continue becoming reality. They have kept asking us when we're restarting the process, because they want to spoil and love another grandchild. Our families are so thrilled to love this child and center them in all of the laughter, love, and fun.

You are truly an inspiration to us. You are such a selfless, caring person to love your child this much to be considering adoption. We would be truly honored if you choose us to parent your child.

We have been together forever. We began dating our freshman year of high school, and now, have just celebrated our seven year wedding anniversary. Our marriage continues to get better and better. The most accurate way to describe us is that we are best friends. We like to have fun together and support each other in everything. We truly are teammates in life, and this has continued in parenting.

Our favorite times are spent as a little family, consisting of the two of us, Charlie, and our dog, Bella; we cannot wait until our little family includes another child and our hearts grow in size. Your child would be at the center of a family with two parents that love them so much and a sibling that is close in age and also has the shared experience of adoption. They would be in a home where we eat dinner together every night, go on walks as a family, give hugs, spend time outside, go on adventures, and read bedtime stories together. We will dedicate our lives to helping your child be happy, successful, and always knowing that they are loved beyond measure.

Each of us sees that the other is a wonderful parent. Ben is the best dad already and will continue to excel. He will sit at the kitchen table and patiently help this child with homework, play outside with them, and teach them life lessons. Emily will shower them in love and affection and be such a positive, cheerful, and attentive mom. Emily only works three days a week and will spend the other four days taking this child on adventures and help them grow.

Your child would grow up in such a warm, happy environment, be taught to respect and be kind to others, and will always know safety and security. They will never question how loved they are - both by us and by you. This child will know from infancy that they were adopted. We will tell them bedtime stories about you and always tell them how much you love them. You and your family will be accurately painted as a wonderful and loving group of people. We are excited to see this child have talents that differ from ours. We will tell them that they likely got these talents from you!

Adoption will always be a positive, open conversation in our family. We truly want to raise this child in the most healthy, positive way. We want your child to have a strong sense of self-esteem and confidence. In order for this to happen, we recognize and value the importance of positively reinforcing their background, identity, and adoption as a whole.

Adoption produces so many unique and special relationships. We would love to participate in life's journey with you. We find it very important that we make you feel confident and at peace in your decision and in us, and we would be happy to send letters, photos, and emails to you. We would also be open to future visits, and we understand that our relationship would evolve and change over time.
