Our Favorite Vacation Spot

Magical Honeymoon

Our favorite vacation spot, hands down, is Walt Disney World. We both enjoy the whole experience of Walt Disney World, from booking the trip until our last day there! We enjoy choosing our hotel, meals and planning our individual theme park visits. One of our favorite times is when we finally arrive in our hotel room, soaking in the excitement of vacationing in a place we love. We both enjoy taking pictures with the characters, enjoying the many shows and of course, riding all the rides! Sara enjoys the mystique and clever experience of the Haunted Mansion. Steve enjoys the old fashioned nostalgia and excitement of Space Mountain. However, whatever attractions or activities Disney may have, the most enjoyment we have is being able to share the experience together! We even booked our honeymoon here because we love it so much! We hope that in the future we are able to share this great experience with our child(ren). We look forward to creating memories and having fun together as a family at this magical place!

Our Promise to You

All Smiles With a Little Friend

Our #1 promise to you: Our best. We promise to love your child(ren) the best we can, the most we can every moment of every day for the rest of our lives. We promise to give our best effort to raising our child(ren). We promise to smile every day as best we can, even when times are tough. We will do our best to share our family with our extended family and friends as often as possible. Our best efforts will be given in trying to surround our child(ren) with positivity, inspiration to follow their dreams and to be confident in trying new things. We plan to do the best in being open with our child(ren) about their adoption and paint the true image of the selfless, most gracious gift the child(ren)'s birthmother bestowed upon us. We are the best at being very respectful and understanding individuals and we plan to parent with this attitude. Our child(ren) will be taught right from wrong, how to treat everyone with respect and to do it with their best effort like we try to do. We will do our best to offer great education for our children and to let them develop as an individual. Finally, as it can not be stated enough, we will be the best at loving our child(ren). When it comes to giving love, we feel we are the best!

Our Family Traditions

Super Bowl Champs!

Family traditions have always played a significant part in our lives. We are very excited to have our child(ren) join in the happiness and joy that traditions bring to us including holidays and other times throughout the year. Over the years, we have continued to do many family traditions that both of us have followed since our childhoods. We have enjoyed forming new traditions as well and know as our family grows that new traditions will continue to be made.

Christmas is one of our favorite holidays and has become a wonderful celebration that has merged old traditions and new. We spend Christmas Eve and Christmas day traveling to be able to celebrate with both sides of our families, stay at our parent's and cousin's houses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey enjoying meals, laughs, songs, prayer, conversation, games and above all else - love.

A fun tradition we have created as big sports fans is hosting a family party at our house on Super Bowl Sunday. We just held our second annual party in 2018 which was extremely special this year since our own Philadelphia Eagles won the game! We love having our parents, grandparents, siblings and friends come to our home to eat, drink and be merry!

We look forward to sharing our yearly highlights such as family game nights, summer barbecues, July 4th fireworks, our Easter egg hunt on the beach and enjoying Sara's Mom's delicious Thanksgiving turkey with our future child(ren).

Our House and Neighborhood

Home Sweet Home

We reside in a beautiful suburb north of Philadelphia. We live in a three bedroom, one bathroom house with a garage, sitting room with fireplace and a family room. We also have a large eat-in kitchen where we like to spend time cooking and enjoying meals together. Our favorite room is the family room, where we watch TV, play with our dog, Elvis, and relax as a family. We also have a nice fenced-in yard where we entertain guests and play with Elvis.

Our neighborhood is very quiet but full of young families with children of varying ages. We are friendly with our neighbors and can trust and rely on them when we need help. Our neighborhood is well lit with sidewalks where it is safe to walk and ride bikes. We have a local athletic league right in our extended neighborhood where we can walk to safely and easily. We also see children playing on the playground or participating in organized sports. We have many stores, state parks and community centers nearby. We are also a short driving distance away from Sesame Place, a local theme park designed specifically for young children. Our community also holds several family friendly events throughout the year like the Annual Fall Festival, the summer concert series and various church and business fundraisers and markets.

Our Extended Families

Our Family

We have a very large and loving extended family. We have a strong and happy relationship with our parents, siblings and their spouses. We are especially close with Sara's sister Coleen and her husband Rob. Our families all live close by and we spend a good amount of time with all of them.

Steve's parents, Nancy and Hank, have been happily married for 33 years. Sara' parents, Cheryl and Richard, are divorced, however we find that our family is very blessed since Sara's mother, father and step-mother, Maryann, are very close and have a great relationship. Sara has one older sister and Steve has a younger brother. Our families are a big part of our lives and we spend many weekends and holidays together. We have discussed our adoption plan with our families and they are thrilled. Our mothers are already talking about the essentials we will need for our child or children. Everyone is excited to be first time grandparents, great grandparents, aunts and uncles!

From Us to You

We are honored and grateful that you are taking the time to read our profile and to learn about us and our families. We also thank you for considering adoption. It takes a great amount of courage, strength and selflessness to make a choice such as this. We greatly admire and respect you and all birthmothers for this difficult decision. We plan to honor you through being the best caring, supporting, and most of all, loving parents we can be.

We have discussed having children and being parents since we both started dating over seven years ago. We are very excited to start a family. We talk constantly about the different and various things we want our future child(ren) to know and experience. We know God has a plan for us in our quest to become parents. We are fully committed to sharing our strong love with a child. We want to encourage them, teach them and also learn from them. We also want our child(ren) to grow into their own person and be the best that they can be. We know being parents will not always be easy. However, we know the rewards and fulfillment will far outweigh the challenging times.

We, along with our large families cannot wait to share love with a child. We want the child to share in our many traditions including holidays and vacations. We look forward to attending social gatherings with friends, especially as new parents. We are excited for our local favorites the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire and the Holiday Light Show. We will also spend time intimately as a family playing with our dog Elvis and enjoying trips to the beach.

We live in a vibrant and safe neighborhood. Our neighborhood is full of young families with children of varying ages. We are friendly with our neighbors and can trust and rely on them when we need help. The schools are very good and the neighborhood playground and athletic association are a short and safe walk away. We also have a local theater that hosts summer concerts and a farm that has various fall and winter celebrations.

Please know that we will be open and honest with your child regarding adoption. We will share how much we admire and respect you. We look forward to sharing your child's adoption story with him/her. We feel knowing one's whole story is very important and a vital role in a person's life.

We will also share your child's growth and experiences often with you through whatever channels you may desire (letters, photos, emails, videos, etc.). We want you to know that your child is truly cared for and loved.

We thank you again for reading our profile. We pray for you during this journey and want you to know that we are thinking of you.
