Our Leisure Time

Beautiful Day for a Boat Ride

Our favorite thing to do in our free time is to take our boat out in the beautiful gulf waters where we live. We enjoy fishing, swimming, or just cruising to catch a glimpse of a manatee or dolphins. It is always exciting to see a manatee or dolphin up close! In addition to going out on the boat, we enjoy other outdoor activities such as paddle boarding, riding on the bike trail close to our home, golf cart rides around the neighborhood and sporting events. We often spend our weekends with family and friends doing some of our favorite things such as hosting a cook out while cheering on our favorite college football team. We look forward to football season every year and the fun and togetherness it brings. We also enjoy hanging out with family and friends during our free time doing many fun activities and we are excited to make new memories with our child!

Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other

Randee + Chris

Randee About Chris: Chris is a fun-loving, caring and devoted man that I am blessed to call my husband. He has a contagious smile, a great laugh and always shows me a lot of love and affection. Chris is the hardest working person I know and has a great work ethic. He is optimistic and helps me look at the positive in all aspects of life. He is patient and easy going and lets difficult situations roll off his back. He is always around to help others no matter how big or small the task is. I love seeing our nieces and nephews run to him as he is just a big kid at heart! Chris is my rock in everything in life, especially through our journey to become parents. I know he will be an amazing dad as he has a lot of love and fun to share with a child.

Chris About Randee: I am extremely blessed to have met and married my best friend. Randee is the most selfless person I know. She is always putting other people first, whether its family, friends, her co-workers but mostly the kids that she is helping learn to communicate and develop other skills. She is very strong, smart, witty, caring and compassionate. It brings me so much happiness watching all of our niece's and nephew's faces light up with joy every time we get to see them, knowing that their Aunt Randee loves them and that they are going to get to play with her. She is my whole world and I truly thank God that he brought us together. Because of her unwavering qualities and faith in God and the amount of love she has to give, I know that she will be a great mom.

Our Family Traditions

Pool Party With Family

We are blessed to have fun-loving families on both sides which has allowed us to make many traditions that are an important part of our lives. Throughout the year we get together as a family for dinner and to play our favorite games. Some of our favorite games are Dominoes, Apples to Apples and Heads Up. The competitive nature of game night brings a lot of fun and laughter for everyone!

For Memorial Day weekend, we host an annual family pool party. This is a fun day of cooking out, playing volleyball in the pool and lots of jumping and splashing with the kids! We look forward to this fun day in the sun all year!

Every year at Christmas we do a family White Elephant gift exchange, often with both sides of our family. This is another fun tradition where we can share and "steal" gifts from each other. Every year we look forward to seeing the variety of gifts that are unwrapped and enjoying the mystery of what we will end up with!

We are very excited to introduce our child to these traditions and look forward to developing more as our child grows.

Our House and Neighborhood

Our Cozy Home

We live in sunny, south Florida just a few miles from the gulf beaches in a cozy three-bedroom, two-bathroom home with a pool and large yard. Our favorite rooms in our house are the kitchen because we love cooking and our outside patio for grilling and enjoying the pool with friends and family. We really enjoy hosting pool parties in the summer for friends and family to come relax and have fun. We feel so fortunate that the beautiful Florida weather allows us to enjoy being outside year round.

Lots of Room for Fun!

Our neighborhood is well established with good space between our neighbors and lots of room for fun in the yard. Most of our neighbors have been in the neighborhood for many years, which makes it a tight knit community where we all look out for each other. There are children of all ages in our neighborhood who attend the community's high rated K-8 school.

Our neighborhood offers a lot of fun activities! We enjoy golf cart rides around the neighborhood and often see a lot of wildlife along the way. The local bike trail makes for fun afternoon rides with great scenery.

We love living in a beach community. Our house is two miles from the beach and we enjoy many fun events in our community including the Annual Shark Tooth Festival, 4th of July fireworks on the beach, Christmas boat parade and a fun downtown area with our favorite ice cream shop!

Our Extended Families

Game Night With Randee's Family

Family is a very important part of our lives! We are very blessed to have large families on both sides that we are very close to. Most of our family members live within driving distance. We visit our families often to celebrate birthdays, holidays or just to get together for fun.

Chris' Family

We are blessed to be called Aunt and Uncle by our nieces and nephews from our brothers and sisters in-law and also by our close friend's children. We are also very close with our cousins and their children. We try to be involved with all of the special children in our life as much as possible, such as being there for birthdays, attending school events or sporting functions. It brings us so much to watch them grow!

Every member of our family is very excited about our adoption journey. They have much gratitude for you as you consider us as adoptive parents and they have a lot of love to give our child. We can't wait to make more memories with our family with a child of our own!

From Us to You

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and get to know us. Words cannot express how much we admire your courage and strength as you consider us to be the parents of your precious baby.

We are high school sweethearts who fell in love and became best friends. After several years of dating, we got married and have been married for over 14 years. We have a strong marriage based on love, laughter and unconditional love. Becoming parents is something we have always dreamed about. For many years we tried to start a family and we were faced with many challenges and heartbreak throughout the process. Through these challenges, we learned that God's plan for us to become a family was through adoption. We couldn't be more excited to prepare our hearts and home for our future as parents as we have a lot of unconditional love to give to your child.

We are blessed to have large, close-knit, fun-loving and supportive families on both sides. We spend a lot of time with our families and cherish the memories we make with them. All members of our family are bursting with excitement as we grow our family through adoption. Our families have taught us the importance of faith, family, education, strong work ethic, kindness and respect for others. We will teach our child the same values and we also look forward to sharing many fun experiences including: taking boat rides, learning to fish, building sand castles at the beach, movie night and family game nights.

While spending time together and with family and friends are the most important part of our lives, we are also blessed to have jobs that bring us much joy and fulfillment. Chris is a Lineman for the power company and works hard daily to restore power when it goes out and build safer and more efficient power lines. Randee is a speech-language therapist who works with children ranging from infant - 20 years old and have a variety of disabilities impacting their ability to develop and communicate. The thing we love most about our jobs is that we are given the opportunity to help others daily and we can see the impact our work has on bettering the lives of others. Our hard work has allowed us to establish a stable and loving home for our child.

We deeply appreciate your consideration of us as adoptive parents for your child. Allowing us the opportunity to become parents is something for which we will always be grateful. As you read through our profile and learn more about us, we hope it will give you a peace of mind, knowing your child will be provided a safe, stable, nurturing, happy and fun home to grow up in. If you would like to meet us or learn more about us, that is something we welcome during this journey, as we understand that this relationship will be needed for your child's ability to understand where they came from and know who you are. Since your child's journey begins at birth, you will always be connected to your child's life story and we plan to explain their adoption story to them based on information you are comfortable sharing. We will share pictures, letters, emails, and updates periodically. We are also open to phone calls and some visits.

Know that we are praying for you and your sweet baby throughout your journey and that God will give you peace in the decision that you make now and in the future. We promise your child will be loved unconditionally all the days of our lives.

With Love,

Chris & Randee
