Summer’s about to begin — which means, in addition to late nights, fun in the sun and outdoor activities, it’s time for American Adoptions’ Father’s Day photo contest!

One of last year’s photo contest winners: Jason and his son Kash!

Every year, we love the precious father-child pictures you submit. And, though this year has been a weird one by all standards, we still want to see those Kodak moments. After all, we could all use a little more love in our social feeds!

Remember, our Father’s Day photo contest is open to both American Adoptions birth and adoptive fathers. The winners of the photo contest will be announced just before Father’s Day and will be featured on our blog and social media accounts!

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Email your favorite photo of you and your child(ren) that shows your favorite Dad adoption moment to editors@americanadoptions.com. One photo per family, please!
  2. Title your email as “Photo Contest.”
  3. In the body of the email, please include your name, your children’s name(s) and ages. Example: John Smith, Age 2 – Parents: Robert and Jane Smith. You can also include a description of the photo.

Submissions for the Father’s Day photo contest are due by 5 p.m. CST on Thursday, June 11.

The winners of the contest will be selected by you! Photo submissions will be posted on our Facebook page once the deadline closes, where you, your friends and your family can vote for your favorite photo with a Like. Keep in mind: Comments and shares will not be counted, so make sure to direct your voters to the original photo to tally their Like.

Voting for the Father’s Day photo contest will close at 5 p.m. CST on Thursday, June 18.

Winners will be announced on our blog on Friday, June 19. Photos will also be featured on our Instagram page and in our American Adoptions newsletter.

We can’t wait to see your submissions. Good luck!
