Clearly you care dearly for your baby, and basically what you are asking for is for an open adoption. Open adoptions have been found to be highly beneficial for both the baby and the birthparents. While checking adoption web sites I have found out that many families (as ours) are willing and hoping to do an open adoption. Good luck in your search,

When you are connecting with adoptive families freely talk with them about this. Don't be afraid to discuss this. You're important too. You're making a very loving gift by placing your child into an adoptive family. I'm sure most families would be eager to work things out with you. Maybe occassional visits would be okay with them, or sending photos or letters. My husband and I are looking into adopting an infant. One of the things we're doing is setting up a website so that our birthmother and father (and all family members) can always go to it for photos and updates. I hope things work out well for you!
