| Anonymous | Posted: Feb 07, 2007 01:46:38 PM You have to have your doctor sign a simple form stating you have no problems that would prevent you from parenting and that you have a normal life expectancy. I would think if you were in remission that a doctor would have no problems signing the form. I think it is just a precautionary to prevent someone who was sick and or dying from adoption. I wish you luck.

What are the statistics of adoptive families with cancer survivor's? Why should my past hurdles stop us from being the parents we were born to be?
