We will provide a well-rounded and developmentally appropriate education that supports the child's academic growth, emotional well-being, and long-term preparation for adulthood. From early childhood through adolescence, we will prioritize a strong foundation in literacy, numeracy, critical thinking, and communication skills through public schooling. We will stay actively involved in the child's education by maintaining communication with teachers, attending school events, and reinforcing learning at home. In addition to formal education, we will encourage curiosity and lifelong learning through reading, hands-on experiences, and exposure to the arts and sciences. The child will also have opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports, music, technology, and community programs to help them discover interests while building confidence and practical life skills. We place strong emphasis on preparing the child for adulthood, whether the path they choose includes college, vocational training, military service, or entering the workforce directly after high school. We will support the exploration of career interests so the child can make informed decisions about their future. We will also teach practical life skills such as financial literacy, time management, and decision-making. Above all, we aim to raise this child into a capable, independent, and resilient young adult who feels supported in choosing their own path in life.

We engage in various activities to bring some relaxation to our lives. Sabrina enjoys spending her free time investing in creative pursuits, such as portrait sketching, landscape painting, and photography. She loves to express her creativity through art and capturing meaningful moments with her camera. Sabrina also enjoys listening to audiobooks, particularly those within the romance genre.

Jordan enjoys spending his free time playing video games online with his friends or playing chess. He also enjoys spending time learning about various topics, such as dinosaurs, space, and history. In addition, he enjoys immersing himself in fictional worlds such as Star Wars, Marvel, and Lord of the Rings. When spending time together, we enjoy having movie nights in our rec room. We also enjoy going on walks through the neighborhood together. We look forward to sharing our hobbies and interests with a child one day while also encouraging them to find their own unique passions.

Our hope for an open adoption is to create a loving and meaningful relationship between our family and the birth family. We hope to honor the important role the birth family has in the child's life while also providing a safe, stable, and nurturing home for them to grow up in. We would love for the child to know where they came from, grow up understanding their life story, and build a relationship with their birth family. We want to maintain an open and respectful relationship with the birth family through pictures, letters, phone calls, visits, or whatever feels comfortable for everybody involved. We understand that the relationship may change over time and we want to remain flexible and open to everybody's needs. The most important thing is that we want the child to grow up knowing that they are surrounded by people who love them and can form a relationship with each of them.

Our suburban neighborhood is welcoming and peaceful, with friendly neighbors who look out for one another. Throughout the year, our community comes together for seasonal festivals, local fairs, and outdoor events that bring everyone closer and create lasting memories.

Our home is a place where we enjoy relaxing, spending time together, and welcoming family and friends. One of our favorite spaces is the living room, where we gather for board games and conversations after a busy day. We also enjoy spending time in the rec room, where we gather for movie nights and video games.

Outside, we enjoy relaxing on our patio and deck in the backyard or taking walks through the neighborhood. There are many family friendly places where a child can explore, such as local playgrounds and swimming pools.

We are excited to provide a safe, caring home where a child can grow and always feel valued and supported.

Family is the most important aspect of our lives, and we are grateful to be surrounded by people who fill our lives with love, laughter, and unwavering support. We both come from close-knit families who have always celebrated life's milestones together. Whether it's holidays, birthdays, or cookouts, our gatherings are filled with delicious food, meaningful conversation, and plenty of laughter. Family game nights are a fun tradition, with board games and card games bringing everyone together for a little friendly competition.

We also cherish our seasonal traditions, including Christmas Eve dinner with Jordan's family and Christmas Day breakfast with Sabrina's family. Since most of our family members live nearby, it's easy to stay connected and spend quality time together. Our families have been incredibly supportive of our adoption journey and are excited to welcome a child with open arms. They look forward to creating new traditions, celebrating holidays and birthdays, and being a source of love and encouragement through every stage of this child's life. What makes our family unique is the way we genuinely care for one another and always show up when someone needs us. We have been married for three years, and one of the things we love most about our life together is the feeling of family we have created. Our home is where we spend so much of our time together, whether we are laughing, relaxing, playing, or enjoying the little moments that make life special. We often find ourselves imagining what it would be like to have a child here, filling our home with toys, bedtime stories, little footsteps, laughter, and all the beautiful memories that come with raising a child.

Jordan is the kind of person who naturally joins in on the fun, especially with our niece and the other children in our family. One of our niece’s favorite things to do is play dress-up with us. Jordan is always willing to join in and make her laugh, even when that means putting on a silly costume. Jordan is also an amazing problem solver and someone your child will always be able to depend on. Sabrina hopes to be the kind of mother her own mother has been to her. Her mother has taught her what it means to be loving, inspiring, fair, and dependable. Sabrina hopes to pass those same qualities on to your child and give them the same sense of love, security, and encouragement that her mother gave her.

Aside from us, our household includes two loving canine companions: Layla, our mini Goldendoodle, and Theodore, our mini Labradoodle. They are both gentle, playful dogs who have experience being around children. They interact very well with our niece, and we can already picture them becoming wonderful companions for your child and being part of the memories they create together.

We look forward to creating family traditions and making every holiday and birthday feel special. We imagine holidays filled with as much family as possible, birthdays centered around making your child feel special, and vacations filled with both new adventures and places we return to year after year. Most of all, we want your child to grow up feeling celebrated, supported, and surrounded by a family who loves being together.

We want your child to grow up knowing their birth family and understanding their life story. Throughout their life, we will speak openly and lovingly about their birth family and share whatever their birth family is comfortable with us sharing. We never want adoption to feel like something hidden or something your child should be ashamed of. Their story will always be a meaningful part of who they are.

We are open to whatever level of connection feels most comfortable for you. We would be happy to send letters to you, share photos and videos, have conversations on the phone, and even have annual visits. We want the relationship to be built with respect, honesty, and communication, and we want you to have the opportunity to see your child grow and know that they are deeply loved.
