Many Families Wait for Years. Here's How We Help Yours Adopt Safely and Sooner

For many families, the hardest part of adoption is waiting for a match that never comes.

Most never realize the real reason: their agency simply is not reaching enough pregnant women.

Without strong outreach, wait times grow, matches fail, and families spend their savings trying again and again. It is not because adoption does not work.

It is because their agency is not connecting with the right people.

The difference in agency web traffic tells the story clearly.

Amount of webtraffic each agency gets

Higher reach means safer, faster and more stable adoptions. Agencies with limited visibility connect with fewer pregnant women, leading to longer waits, more failed matches, and greater financial risk for families.

The Real Obstacle: Not Enough Reach

Did you know: Only 1 out of 100 women will choose adoption.

If your agency is not connecting with a large number of expectant mothers, your odds of success shrink quickly.

When agencies reach only a few women:

  • Wait times grow from months to years
  • Families lose money on failed matches and repeat fees
  • Opportunities fade, and hope starts to disappear

How American Adoptions Keeps Families Safe

We reach more women considering adoption than nearly any other agency.

Our commitment to marketing outreach and a dedicated marketing and media team gives your family access to more opportunities and stronger matches.

More reach means:
✅ Faster matches
✅ Fewer failed adoptions
✅ Less financial risk

If a situation does not move forward, our Limited Risk Program keeps your budget protected, allowing you to continue toward success without having to start over or pay repeat fees.

The Difference That Reach Makes

Other agencies may advertise lower costs, but they often do so by cutting corners, especially in marketing.
When outreach is limited, families face longer waits, fewer qualified opportunities, and a higher chance of failed matches that lead to repeated costs.

By investing in broad, compliant, and compassionate outreach, we help families find more stable, well-supported adoption opportunities and avoid the financial and emotional setbacks caused by underfunded programs.

The Bottom Line

More visibility means more adoption opportunities, shorter wait times, and less risk.
You deserve an agency that reaches the women who make adoption possible and protects your family every step of the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to retain our own attorney?

No, American Adoptions has established relationships with some of the best adoption attorneys in the nation. Because adoption laws vary from state to state and between counties, it is important to utilize the services of an adoption attorney who specializes in the state where the adoption will finalize, which is unknown until you match with an expectant mother. You have the right to retain your own attorney, but doing so may be an additional, unnecessary expense.

Can we choose the gender of our baby?

American Adoptions does not allow gender specificity in adoption. Any family who wishes to be gender-specific in their adoption should contact us at 1-800-ADOPTION and ask about the possibility of an exception waiver before taking any other steps toward adoption with our agency. Any families who do receive an exception to be gender-specific may also incur an additional fee, which helps cover the additional advertising costs of such a request.

Please note that gender specificity will likely increase your wait time significantly.
