The Adoption Foundation is the charitable wing of American Adoptions of California and Family Connections Christian Adoptions, both affiliates of American Adoptions and registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.

Our Current Campaign

Today, nearly 70,000 children are in the foster care system waiting for a permanent home. Unfortunately, too many will wait years, and some will never be adopted.

Our goal is to inform and educate to spread awareness that adoption is always an option, and it provides children with a safe, loving home with a wonderful family ready to give a life full of opportunity.

To reach our goals of helping everyone involved in adoption, we need your help.

Our focus is on creating a foundation that reaches everyone touched by adoption.

• Children: Help children in foster care receive the support they need and find loving families sooner.
• Expectant and Birth Parents: Ensure women understand all options and have access to support before and after a placement.
• Adoptive Families: Avoid financial barriers to adoption and provide support long after placement.
• Adoptees: Build resources and connections that support adoptees throughout their lives.
• The People Who Shape Adoption: Educate professionals and work toward better practices that help children find families sooner.
