Our life priorities are to keep our health, always show love, and have peace throughout our lives. We believe that good health is the foundation for living our best life as we carefully shop for groceries and prepare meals while being conscious of our what we eat. We exercise and keep active so that we can enjoy all of the aspects of life and to have energy for what the day brings. Another priority of ours is to fill our home and hearts with love. We welcome family, friends, and newcomers all the same with an open heart and unconditional love. Strong relationship are important to us and are built on love and concern.

Having peace in our lives, is another priority, though keeping balance with work and pleasure, finances and expenses; and life's unexpected and joys. We know that life is dynamic and ever-changing and in our home we focus to achieve harmony and ultimately peace. Through good health, love, and peace- is what our lives and home is based upon.

We chose adoption after trying to start a family on our own over seven years ago. We have always wanted to have children and create a loving family. We are unable to have children on our own and have struggled with infertility. After quite some time we were unsuccessful with our fertility treatments and embryo transfers. We were hopeful that medicine/science would help us start our family but it was not in God's will for us.

We decided after careful thought and consideration that adoption was the right path to starting our family. We know others who have adopted, including Maria's sister and her husband, and we would love to parent a baby and give them all that we have to offer. We want to uphold the identity and background of the baby as this is important. We also want to connect with a birth mother who will accept us, and in return, we promise to usher in a new life and be the best parents that we can be.

Our story began when we met in 2018 as we were brought together by close relatives that knew both of us well. They knew that we were perfect for each other- and it was true! We even attended the same university at the same time only to meet and be together later in life. We spent lots of time getting to know each other, exploring the city, taking cooking classes together, and meeting each other’s friends and family. In July 2019, we were married and bought our beautiful home together in Chicago where we reside today.

We have cherished many memories already- traveling to New York, San Diego, and through France, Spain, and Italy. We are involved with our local Church helping with food drives and donations; and enjoy our parish community. We have always wanted to have children and create a loving family. We are unable to have children on our own and have struggled with infertility. We decided after careful thought and consideration that adoption was the right path for us.

One can say that we both have "one BIG FAT GREEK family" where food is as plentiful as cheer and laughter. We both grew up in families surrounded by siblings and cousins and enjoyed a childhood full of fun-filled memories and experiences. Many happy occasions were had at birthday parties, holidays, and celebrations as they were a chance to have a great time- and they still are for us. Both of our parents immigrated to this country to provide a better life for us and taught us the meaning of hard work, persistence, and the joys of life. Our parents have taught us traditions centered on kindness, respect, compassion, and honesty with others. The relationship that we have with each other as husband and wife is founded on these very values and made us who we are today. With our work and with our interactions with people, we strive to lead by example and live a life of significance and service. We hope to provide the best example for a child and share the values and tradition that we know and cherish.

Our whole family is very excited to welcome a new baby- Leo’s parents are looking forward to becoming grandparents for the first time and Maria’s parents will be very happy to have another grandchild to love and cherish. There will be plenty of love to go around from everyone! Our extended family even lives within minutes away to provide support and a helping hand.

We live in Chicago, Illinois bordering the suburbs and have access to a number of park, bike trails, swimming pools, and local schools. Several award-winning public libraries are nearby that offer activity programs and classes for children. We are close to all that the city has to offer from museums, cultural centers, and arts and educational programs.

Our home is a two-level extended Georgian-style home that is warm and inviting and we would love nothing more than to raise a family in it. We love to have family and friends over for cookouts, holidays, and visits. It is our annual tradition host Christmas every year and the Fourth of July with friends and extended family. What we love about our community is that it is home to many growing families with children, that includes several neighbors on our block.

Friends and family often come together for block parties, parades, and fun community events. We are members of the local community park district and enjoy being involved with their happenings. There is a warm, close-knit feel to our neighborhood that we love very much. Many of our neighbors have children whom all play together and also help babysit.

We wish to give every opportunity to the baby so that they may be happy and healthy. We want them to know they are valued for exactly who they are and to grow up with opportunities to explore their interests and passions. We will be their biggest cheerleaders encouraging them to dream big and to discover their own path. We will wholeheartedly love them and provide a safe and stable, nurturing home where they can flourish.
