Each year we host a “Friendsgiving” and invite all of our friends over to our house for large thanksgiving dinner. We have been hosting our group's Friendsgiving for the past 8 years and we look forward to planning it each year. Similarly, we host a “Friendsmas” friends gift exchange each December as well.

Another tradition that we started years ago when we first got engaged was to go to the store at the beginning of December and we each pick out a Christmas ornament for each other. We have continued this with our son and can't wait to introduce our ornament tradition to a child!

Cooking dinner together and eating dinner together as a family is something we like doing on a more day to day basis. While Tyler is a really good cook who truly enjoys it, Jessey assists him in the kitchen. We’ve come to really love eating dinner at our table each night.

When we are both off of work we prioritize spending time together as a family. We really love to get outdoors any chance that we can get. We are fortunate to live in Texas where the weather is typically warm enough year round for outdoor activities. We love to go on walks around our neighborhood and watch the deer and other wildlife in the evenings or head over to the community park for the walking trails and playgrounds.

When we have extended time off we really enjoy taking a road trip to the lake or the river. Tyler's family has a house on the river where he grew up going and we have been going together for many years. It's quiet and relaxing, and we feel like it is the perfect place for kids to run and play.

We have one biological son and always planned to grow our family with more children. Unfortunately, we struggled with complications during pregnancies and the inability to carry a successful pregnancy after our son.

We love being parents and could not imagine a life without children in it. We are fortunate enough to have work schedules that allow us to be present. Jessey works from home and is able to always be present at home with flexible hours which will allow for attending appointments, school activities, and outings.

We have so much love to give to another child and are thrilled to be on the journey to adopting and adding to our family.

We are very family oriented and have large families that we love to spend as much time as we can with. We are fortunate to live very close by both of our parents, Tyler's parents and Jessey's mom both live less than 5 minutes away from us which means we have a ton of familial support pretty much whenever we might need it.

Jessey has one brother who is married and expecting his first son soon. They live in a neighboring town which allows us to see them often. Tyler has a twin brother and one sister who has two daughters who we love getting to spend time with often and who we know will be thrilled with the addition of a child. Every three or so months we pick a family members house and have a huge family dinner with all of our extended cousins, aunts, and uncles. Each person brings a dish that they cooked and it’s such a fun time catching up.

We also have a large friend group that we usually meet up with about once a week to do a friend's dinner with and we like to play card games or spend time outside when the weather is nice. It’s really great to have so many family members in the town where we live and so many in the neighboring towns, so we never have to go too long without spending time together. All of our family and friends are so excited to welcome a child into all of our lives.

We live in a small neighborhood just on the edge of our city limits. Our house sits right next to a pasture which has tons of deer in it that we love to sit outside and watch in the evenings. We really love our neighborhood because it feels as though we are way out in the country, but we also are close to town and can easily access all of the entertainment. We chose this neighborhood for the location and large yard with space for playing baseball, riding bikes, and running around.

There are several families that have young kids living in the neighborhood and nearly every evening there are families walking or riding their bikes through the neighborhood. Our house has 3 bedrooms, and I personally think the best part of our house is our large covered back patio which we spend tons of time enjoying when the weather is nice.

We live in a great community that has quite a few family friendly events annually and even monthly. Recently, we have visited the monthly farmers market which has been really fun! Our favorite community event is the annual Christmas Parade that goes through our downtown, they also have vendors selling food & hot chocolate and both of us have been attending it since we were young kids. It will be a great tradition that we would love to continue on as we grow our family.

We started dating almost 11 years ago and have been married for almost 5 years. We have a strong relationship built on communicating openly and supporting one another, not only during difficult times but also day to day. For many years we have known that we want to grow our family with multiple children. We have always been interested in expanding our family through adoption at some point in our lives, even if we had children of our own. We have one son, Hudson, who is 3.5 years old. Both having grown up with siblings, we feel that sibling bonds and friendship are invaluable and siblings truly make built in best friends. We know that Hudson will make a great big brother and we are thrilled to support the relationship between Hudson and a child.

Tyler has a flexible work schedule and is able to step away from work for appointments, school activities and celebrations. Jessey works full time from home which allows her to help provide for our family while always being present and available to provide love and nurturing throughout the day. Both of our moms are also available, committed, and already so thrilled to help out whenever and wherever they can.

We really value and center our lives around family and spending as much time together as we can. We both grew up with fun, loving families and we will strive to provide the same type of childhood. We want to provide memories and experiences while also providing stability and love. The child will be welcomed with open arms as our entire family and friend group are ecstatic already for the addition of a child. We can't wait for future play dates and outings with friends and cousins!

Should you chose us, we want you to remain a part of this child’s life. We are prepared to send you letters, photos, and updates to document important milestones and growth. We want to make sure that we meet you where you are comfortable and we are open to exchanging emails and day to day photos as well. If you choose, we are also absolutely agreeable to annual visits so that you get the chance to spend time with your child. We truly want to provide both your and this child the opportunity to get to know each other. We want to ensure the child knows you and where they come from.
