We like to think that we have a unique blend of experiences and backgrounds that enriches our lives in ways we're eager to share through adoption. Linsey's work in international development, particularly in workforce development across various Latin American and Caribbean countries, and her unforgettable time as a Peace Corps volunteer, has deeply ingrained in her a profound understanding and respect for diverse cultures and the importance of community support. Her passion for softball and team sports has taught her the value of teamwork, resilience, and leadership.

Garrett brings a complementary perspective through his service as a former Marine and his professional experiences abroad, including in Kiev, Ukraine, and London, England. These experiences have honed his strengths in discipline, adaptability, and understanding of global dynamics. Together, our extensive travels have broadened our horizons and has created a deep appreciation for the different ways people live, communicate, and celebrate life around the world.

We believe these experiences have uniquely prepared us to provide a loving, open-minded, and culturally rich environment for a child. We're committed to fostering a home where learning, compassion, and curiosity about the world are part of daily life. Our journey has shaped us into individuals who cherish the opportunity to learn from and with a child, embracing and celebrating their heritage and individuality.

Our decision to pursue adoption as the path to building our family was driven by a belief in the value of providing a supportive, nurturing home for children. Both of us have always felt a strong calling to share our lives, love, and the fortune we've been blessed with as a couple. The concept of adoption resonates with us not just to become parents, but as a profound opportunity to make a difference in a child's life.

We see adoption as a beautiful journey that not only fulfills our desire to expand our family but also aligns with our core values of support, kindness, and generosity. The idea of supporting a child, offering them a loving home, and providing them with the opportunities to thrive and achieve their potential is incredibly important to us. We believe that every child deserves a chance to be part of a family that eagerly awaits to share life's journeys with them.

We are committed to providing our child with the best possible education, tailored to their needs and interests as they grow. Linsey's attendance in private schooling, combined with Garett's attendance in public education, gives us a balanced perspective on the advantages of both systems. Our approach is to remain flexible, choosing between public and private education based on what will serve our child best at different stages of their life.

Beyond formal education, we believe in the importance of learning outside the classroom. We plan to be actively involved in our child's learning journey at home, encouraging them to pursue extracurricular activities such as sports, after-school programs, or scouting to broaden their horizons and develop diverse skills.

As our child approaches adulthood, we will also engage in discussions about their options for higher education, ensuring they feel supported in whatever path they choose to take. Our goal is to foster a well-rounded individual who values both academic achievement and personal growth.

Our neighborhood is very family friendly with both elementary and middles schools within half a mile of our house. There are several different youth sports leagues and events for families that happen in the neighborhood. We have several families on the street with kids ranging from 2-18.

Our home is a split level house is at the corner of a double cul-de-sac. The house has three bedrooms and an office. The main floor is an open level concept containing a living room, dining room and kitchen and is where we spend most of our time during the summer. In the winter we spend a lot of time in our basement family room with the fire place on watching TV. We have a large front yard as well as side yard.

We have a swimming pool within 1 mile of our house as well as several parks within a short drive of the house.

Linsey is the youngest of four sibling. She has an older brother and two older sisters. Her brother is married with three kids and one of her sisters is also married with three kids. Linsey's family all lives in Ohio about a five-hour drive away from us. We try to get back to see her family as often as we can.

Garett is the oldest of three siblings. He has two younger brothers. The youngest brother is married and they are expecting their first baby in May of 2024. Garett's parents live in Missouri, while one of his brothers live in Virginia, and the youngest lives in California. We spend every 4th of July together in Missouri.

We spend most of our time with friends playing games or sports and regularly host events at our place.

Our family and friends are very supportive of our adoption plan and are looking forward to meeting our this child. They think that this is an amazing opportunity for us to be parents while also providing a loving home to a child.

We have sat down numerous times to write this letter to you, trying to find the perfect words to express the depth of our gratitude and admiration for the selfless decision you are making in choosing adoption for your baby. We want you to know that we understand the weight of this decision and want to assure you that we have the utmost respect for your courage and strength.

We believe that family is everything, and we are eager to provide your baby with the same sense of connection and security that we have been fortunate to experience in our own lives.

We are incredibly lucky to both come from a close-knit family, where love and support are abundant. Our parents, siblings, and extended family are beyond excited to welcome a new member into our family and shower them with love and affection. The baby will be surrounded by more than seven first cousins to play and grow up together along with a large group of family friend's children. I can already envision the family vacations, holiday traditions, and family get-togethers that will create lasting memories for your baby and us to cherish.

We are a fun-loving couple who enjoy spending time together, whether it's exploring new places, trying new foods, or cheering on our favorite sports teams. We both have a passion for baseball and can often be found at games or playing softball throughout the week. We can't wait to share our love of sports with our child and teach them the values of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance.

One of the things that drew us together as a couple is our shared love for travel. We both have a passion for exploring new places and experiencing different cultures, and we can't wait to share that sense of adventure with your baby. Whether it's a road trip to a nearby town or a plane ride to a far-off destination, we want to instill in him or her a love for exploration and discovery.
