Emily's Adoption Story
I am a 29 year old single mom of a 3 year old girl... Becoming pregnant again, which I didn't find out until my 6th month, freaked me out to say the least. How could I possibly take care of another child, while dealing with my own medical conditions, if I could barely take care of the child I had already? Even though I had used protection during the time the new child was conceived, there was only one option for me: adoption.
My adoption specialist, Tosha, found the perfet family for my baby. When I finally met them, I knew that it had all been worth while to see the glow on their faces as they entered the hospital. I will never forget how grateful they were to me. The hospital of my home town did treat me a little unfairly but I don't think that they understood my choice and weren't used to seeing the baby leave the mother. When all was done, I knew that I made the right choice and still feel that way. |
